Terms of Service
1. What vikket is
vikket is a cricket scoring app for street, turf and box cricket. It is free to use, works offline, and requires no account. These terms apply when you use the vikket app or vikket.com.
2. Your content is yours
The matches, players, stats and photos you record belong to you. You can export them at any time, and we claim no rights over them. If you turn on sync, you give us permission to store a copy solely to provide the sync service.
3. Fair use
Don't use vikket to store unlawful content (including in player names or photos), attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service. Score responsibly; umpiring disputes remain your problem.
4. Sync is best-effort
The optional sync service is provided free and best-effort. The app is designed so that scoring never depends on it: your data is saved on your device first. We recommend keeping periodic backup exports for anything you'd hate to lose.
5. No warranty
vikket is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, so please use the built-in backup. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for vikket, which is zero.
6. Ending the service
You can stop using vikket at any time; your local data stays with you. We may suspend accounts that abuse the sync service. If we ever had to discontinue sync, the app would keep working offline and we would give notice on vikket.com.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of India.
8. Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
